Nice and friendly staff, not speaking English. Not far from the central bus station, from where buses go to the waterfalls. Walking no more than 10 minutes.

Location
It's a hostel, not a hotel, which should be clearly mentioned on the website. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, room was not cleaned even though we stayed for four days, had to ask for new towels and toilet paper. Not comfortable, terrible price/quality: don;t go here. Have to say that overall the price/quality for hotels in iguazu is terrible though

Puerto Canoas Iquazu has a welcoming well appointed reception area with cheerful decor that also includes two internet, television and waiting area. Exiting reception one is greeted with a lovely courtyard of flowering plants, colourful painted hosteria exteriors and a swimming pool, creating a nice ambiance. In comparison the rooms seem small and plain but then you realise that the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works well, the shower has plenty of hot water. We had two deck chairs outside our door and table about 15 metres from the swimming pool. This was a very pleasant stay, breakfast very good. Staff were helpful and obliging. They let us swim in the pool after we had checked out and had to wait for our evening bus back to Buenos Aires.
Town is about 300 or so metres from the hosteria which we walked and didn't mind. Taxi's are cheap. I had to climb on a chair to turn the air con on. Rooms and bathrooms are on the small side.

The staff at this hotel were warm and just good people. They didn’t even complain when I broke something in the bathroom (I’m blind as a bat without my glasses). The hotel was clean, breakfast was great, and for the price and location I’l recommend it to all of my friends going to Iguazu

The staff was extremly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also quite good compared to other hotels in Argentina. Showers were always hot and wifi worked without any problems.
The room was rather damp and the bathroom had a lot if mold. However, this proobably can't really be avoided given the very high humidity. Unless you stay at one of the very pricy places.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It is located only a short walk from the city center and services, in a quiet residential area. Good value for the money.
Could hear the nieghbors through the walls. No heat (Puerto Iguazú is in the sub-tropics of northern Argentina, but it still gets cold occasionally during thier winter months).

The guesthouse was very pretty with a nice pool outside. The staff were friendly and the little restaurant served some really cheap and nice food for the price. The staff in the restaurant were also excellent.
It is pretty expensive but then so are all the hotels in this area due to tourism. Our tv didn't work either but that wasn't a problem as we didn't really need to watch it.
